Here are some ideas on what some of us EYN workers thought would be awesome for our network in 2011...
Specific planned events
- MORE YOUTH EVENTS!! Organised events/ activities for youth run in collaboration;
- Movies or music about GI
- Graffiti Art Painting expanded
- Arts Collaboration
- EYN clean up the reserve with local youth
- Connecting with youth more about what support they want
- Creating engaging, fun and useful tools for all of us EYN youth workers.
- Strengthen EYN – having a social gathering mid-year, a Picnic day for EYN and families to strengthen bonds
EYN Youth Worker Involvement
- More involvement with young people
- For the network to be a strong group of well connected and committed youth workers
- People creating and holding roles to help EYN – communication person, minute taking person, facilitator person...
- For us to have more meaningful meetings – maybe projects or themes everyone can participate in, own and celebrate!
- To keep bringing community together and help our youth and families
- For people to come to EYN wanting to contribute time and themselves to be involved in what is happening.
